Vincent Obermeier is the Vice President of Network Development and minority
founder of Tremor Media, Inc. where he is responsible for building and managing
Tremor Media’s rich media and instream video networks. Prior to Tremor Media,
Vincent was a seasoned online advertising sales professional with ten years of
combined experience at DoubleClick, MaxOnline, Coolsavings.com and Venture Direct
Worldwide.
Tim Hanlon - Principal, Riverview Lane Associates
Tim Hanlon is the former Executive Vice President/Managing Director of VivaKi Ventures, the strategic partnership and investment arm of VivaKi – the digital services hub of marketing services agency holding company Publicis Groupe, S.A. – comprising Starcom MediaVest Group, Zenith Optimedia Group, Digitas, Razorfish, and Denuo. He was chiefly responsible for the solicitation, negotiation and oversight of the unit’s strategic partnership and investment activity – focused exclusively on paradigm-changing “new media” platforms and technologies. His role was an outgrowth of his previous work as head of ventures activity for both Denuo and Publicis Groupe Media, and includes formal advisory and directorial positions with over three dozen early-stage companies.
Prior to founding the Denuo Ventures and PGM Ventures practices, Hanlon was Senior Vice President/Director, Emerging Contacts for Starcom MediaVest Group. He was chiefly responsible for all US client activity and agency initiatives in the field of emerging media technologies, including the firm’s ground-breaking TV 2.0 Practice, centered around evolutionary television platforms such as interactive/enhanced television, on-demand video, digital video recording, interactive program guide navigation, addressable advertising, and digital broadcasting/datacasting.
Hanlon has over 20 years of traditional and interactive agency media experience including roles as Vice President/Director, Strategy & Business Development for the Digital Marketing Group of Chicago-based marketing services agency Frankel, and Director of Interactive Media at Creative Alliance in Louisville, KY. He also served as the Advertising Media Manager for the in-house agency of credit card issuer MBNA America in Wilmington, DE, USA.
Hanlon also has wide-ranging journalism experience, including production and writing stints at CBS News, Sports Illustrated and the Voice of America.
Chase Norlin - CEO, AlphaBird
Chase Norlin is the CEO of AlphaBird, a leader in online video syndication. Mr. Norlin has spent the last 15 years in the Internet and digital media industries. Prior to AlphaBird, Mr. Norlin was the founder and CEO of Pixsy, a pioneer in video search. Previously he served as a senior executive at ValueClick (NASDAQ:VCLK) where he managed publisher distribution for the display advertising network, paid search, and comparison shopping divisions.
Prior to ValueClick, Mr. Norlin held the position of Senior Business Development Consultant to InfoSpace (NASDAQ:INSP) charged with publisher distribution and emerging applications for the paid search division. Previously, Mr. Norlin developed Sony's first online photo sharing venture and founded the web's first online video sharing company ShareYourWorld. Mr. Norlin also served as an EIR at Boeing Ventures in launching Boeing's (NYSE:BA) online video and image licensing division.
Mr. Norlin has served on the advisory board of CampusPoint and currently serves on the advisory boards of EgoTVOnline, Kerosene and a Match, VideoThang, PickupPal and Adgregate. Additionally, he serves as Chair of the Video Committee at the Internet Content Syndication Council. He received his BA from UC Berkeley and MA from The University of Chicago and is a regular speaker on video syndication, online advertising, and search. Recent speaking engagements include the Goldman Sachs 9th Annual Global Media Conference, NATPE, NAB, ad:tech, and PubCon.

Anand Ranganathan is the founder of
Efficient Frontier, the world's largest search engine marketing firm. He continues to lead Efficient Frontier's innovations in product and technology as well as helping to build it into the most scalable platform for media buying. Anand has a graduate degree in Computer Science as well as considerable experience in writing and delivering scalable, high performance applications over the web.
